Christina Aguilera’s Melbourne concert is postponed again - with the singer in a fever. The concert was originally rescheduled for tomorrow after an illness forced her out of last night’s show.
Doctors have advised Aguilera to withdraw from her rescheduled show after failing to recover from an illness. The singer is believed to be running a fever and was advised to rest.
“Christina’s health is yet to stabilise to a level that will allow her to perform,” the Frontier Touring Company said.
An announcement would be made within 48 hours.
Some members of her touring party have also been hit by a mystery bug over the past few days as the star’s Back To Basics tour draws to the end of an extensive world tour.

Within minutes of touching down in Sydney last night, Christina Aguilera was satisfying a craving for glazed doughnuts - adding fuel to speculation she may be pregnant with her first child. The star’s stretch limousine was forced to make an emergency pit stop at the Krispy Kreme store at Sydney airport moments after her plane flew in from Brisbane.
Hubby Jordan Bratman was dispatched from the car to buy a box of mixed doughnuts and two large coffees for the trip into the city while Aguilera attempted to remain out of sight in the rear of the vehicle.
Wearing a white beanie and scarf and a grey hooded top to ward off Sydney’s cold, Aguilera was snapped with her snack as the limo roared off.
The car had waited six hours on the tarmac at Sydney airport for the plane to arrive before heading straight to the Krispy Kreme store.
The former Mouseketeer is in Sydney for her Back to Basics tour, with two concerts scheduled at Acer Arena tomorrow and Wednesday.

Christina Aguilera says she is reading scripts in search of the right role to launch an acting career.
“I am looking forward to moving into another form of what I feel is another creative outlet for me and that would be acting,” the 26-year-old singer told reporters Monday in Shanghai, where she was to hold her first mainland China concert.
Aguilera, who married music executive Jordan Bratman in 2005, said she was taking her time reading and understanding the film industry.
“It is something that, when I attempt to do it, I want to do it right so it’s important for me that I do choose the right first role for myself,” said Aguilera, who will perform Tuesday night at the Shanghai Grand Stage, host to earlier performances by the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and the Black Eyed Peas.
Aguilera found fame alongside boy bands and Britney Spears, but caused a stir with the release of her second album, 2002’s “Stripped,” with its accompanying sexual imagery and overall bad-girl attitude. The album received mixed critical reviews but racked up strong sales.
Her latest record, the double album, “Back to Basics,” and its accompanying tour were inspired by the blues, jazz and early soul music of the 1920s, ’30s, and ’40s, along with the sexy, grown-up look of Hollywood vamps such as Marilyn Monroe, Jean Harlow and Veronica Lake.
